If I’m not wrong, the balloting for Marymount in 2CS (in those particular years with overflow from other schools) has always been for >2km distance category. So moving to <1km of MCS is very very safe.

I would say < 2km is already very safe.

Thanks a lot. Yes in normal years it’s very safe. Only when 2018, balloting is required (11 out of 27, can’t find any distance related information). Maybe all those who didn’t get into Peichun went to try MCS during 2CS. Thus raised to my concern.

Ok...I went to check my records. In 2018 for phase 2CS at MCS, there were 27 applicants for 11 remaining seats. Those applicants <2km all got in, filling the 11 seats exactly. The excess applicants were living >2km and did not get a chance to ballot.

Anyone knows if I get in the school because of the distance, but later if I have to move but still move to an address within the same distance range, is this allowed?

Hi any idea how to get the balloting breakdown of the school pls? As in if a school is oversubscribed in phase 2b, how can I tell how many were within 2km? Thank you!
