Another question. If the grassrootconnect shows multiple committees within the same GRC, does it matter which one we pick? Or we must have served 2 full years on that particular committee even though have served in this GRC for much more years?

If you are GRL, why not choose NYPS so that you have 3 chance — 2a2, 2b, 2c…

Does anyone know what happens if electoral boundaries were to change and the targeted school is no longer within same GRC? Is there a chance to appea or are the two years of service wasted? Thank you.

I remember vaguely.

After 2015, the electoral boundary was changed - eg: rgps went from Holland grc to Kallang Moulmein grc.

So for the registration in 2016 (only), the school list followed the pre election boundary.

Hi, Does school make known to us on no of SC registered for the phase (e.g phase 2b) at the end of each day for registration? As I want to determine the chance of getting in. If it’s too many ppl, I may change school before the registration close for that phase. Thanks

really it's the school's internal admin matter.

If they are kind - they will breakdown the numbers according to dist and etc....
(I have seen that before)

Some can also don't breakdown anything, ask you go home refresh MOE website at 7pm

Ask u go home check MOE website is a typical civil servant tactic of chasing u away & making it not their problem. But parents be aware that the MOE website will not show you whether SC or not, will not show what distance etc. It only shows the total number of applicants. That’s all. It’s up to u whether u want to stand there and “bargain” with the civil servant who may not budge/care.
