Raffles Girls' Primary

Thank you. As DD has some other enrichment, I was wondering if it is worth the time to attend as it seem it will be conducted by some PVs.

We were told by the Principal that the DSA training session in RGPS was first found and drafted by a PV whose headed her company’s HR department. My gal attended 2 yrs back when she was in P6. Personally I have attended 2 workshops by coaches that do DSA prep class (one was Paideia). I didn’t send my gal to any DSA courses, only let her attend the one offered by school. She only applied to DSA in one school. Though she was not successful in the DSA selection ( via academic route), the school session was a good prep. Eventually she got into that same Secondary school she "DSA"ed.
If you are targeting SOTA, then you need to prepare a "writing portfolio". I knew a teacher who specializes to guide students in this area. Do pm me if you need. -

Hi,
Would like to know those children that can cope with higher chinese will take the paper during PSLE together with normal chinese paper?? :thankyou: -
No
Do refer SEAB 2019 psle exam timetable website
Psle dates for normal (basic) Chinese and higher Chinese, are set on two different dates, by SEAB
Normal Chinese : on Monday (30 September 2019)
while
Higher Chinese (the final last paper, for psle) :
on Wednesday (2 October 2019)
On both these two separate dates -
Paper 1 (zuowen) start at 8.15 am
Paper 2 will start at 10.15 am (after recess)
In case of traffic jam on these days or mrt breakdown, please ensure that your child is punctual, for psle national exam -
I heard all P1 students no longer study higher chinese by default. May I know is it true??
:thankyou: -
Yes, in fact my gal in P3 no longer do HMT this year by default. They will only be offered HMT in P4 based on your MT result in P3.
