To share a website for PSLE T-score prediction. It is based on the current performance of the child and predict his/her PSLE T-score by using statistic model.

      http://www.sgdatascience.com

      https://postimg.cc/FfTM8xWk

      Tried
putting in 4 same sa1 marks (For the 4 subjects) into 2 different primary schools -

Raffles Girls primary and nanyang primary.

How come the estimated T-score difference worked out is far apart, seems this model like ... not accurate. Both these 2 schools are Gep schools, their p5 and p6 (sa1, sa2 and prelim) standard are high, so difference between them cannot be so far apart

NYPS CL/HCL paper will be tougher right? And because it has boys, maybe more 100% Math scorers?

But you are right, we need to wonder how they programmed the analytics of this program. If it is from past data (wherever they managed to get it from), fine. But not if they anyhow threw in some factor.

This type of website don't publish their statistic model, data sample size etc, not much better.

We don’t attempt past year papers much so far but plan to do so. The data seems to suggest that RGPS’s predicted score is lower vs other branded schools, based on the same set of data. Does that mean RGPS sets easier P6 papers as compared to the PSLE? If I have to prioritise the papers to do… perhaps I should attempt other schools’ papers? Welcome feedback from parents who have seen most papers

No... actually the data does not suggest that. If anything, it suggests that RGPS sets easier papers than NYPS since the same score attained in the RGPS papers vs NYPS supposedly translates to a lower actual T-score according to that simulation.

Also, there's really no info on how they calculate that number- is it by an estimated Ave/ SD for each school, a different multiplication factor for different schools, school T-score +/- a fixed buffer for each school... nobody knows.

Anyway, having said that, I am quite sure that being one of the very sought-after primary schools, RGPS students also score above the national average in PSLE. So you'll probably be fine doing any of papers, to be honest. Besides, other than NYPS, which other school papers did you have in mind if you're eliminating RGPS...

Yes, long time ago, since the beginning of January Term 1 : Prelim (SA2) exam time-table already posted onto school website, inside school Calendar of events (Semester 1 and 2). Can check your school’s Calendar

Did your primary school given (issued) June holiday time-table, daily guided Topical PSLE revision timetable, for (Maths and Science) subjects ?

                  Hi,

Anyone knows where to buy past years TOP schools SA1 and preliminary papers?
Is it a good strategy to let kids practice those papers?

You can get from vendors like at Bras Basah or online. Lots of kid do TOP school papers. Some strategise by doing less challenging papers first to build stamina, others pick and choose questions, etc. Many ways to choose.
