Motivation drive :salute:
What is amazing is the child requested for no tuition after mid year exam and focus on doing his own PSLE revision.
My kid no tuition as well as had requested more rest and play time. But this holiday, engine still slow. Hopefully picking up soon. -

I think SA1 scope is narrower, ie, still very much P6's syllabus whereas Prelim will cover the full PSLE syllabus.
That is possible.MrsKiasu\" post_id=\"1914270\" time=\"1560395046\" user_id=\"43981:
the results are very good and improved so much from SA1 to prelim..possible that prelim papers set more to psle std and that the boy's school usually set tougher papers?
However, you won't know for sure unless a sample of the other pupils' results who sat in the same SA1 and prelim as him is also presented. If everyone's result shows a similar trend, then that's a likely conclusion (paper was much harder in SA1). If he's the odd one out, it could mean he had worked very hard, improved tremendously between SA1 and prelim, or it could also mean SA1 was an abnormality - and he was off-form on that day.
I believe most schools are more forgiving when setting prelims papers and try not to discourage their students. -
Schools are more forgiving? Sure anot? From my experience prelims are always harder because the teachers want to shock their charges into studying

The only difference is when the papers are set by the same person, eg. In universities where the same lecturer deals with the papers. It is possible he/she may want to make the finals more difficult. -
got to get dd to study liao :faint: -

Hi, can I check if anyone tried the psle specimen paper by EPH (has total of 5 papers in a book) what do you think of the level of difficulties?
