Qifa to your west. Blangah Rise to your east. Both safe to get in. FMPS ballot within 1km , so that’s out for you.
Hi I'm newbie here. I'm really stressed up as I'll be under phase 2c. I just quitted my job last August hence PV is too late I do not have any neighborhood sch within 1km near me. I'm staying at Pasir Panjang the nearest primary sch would be Fairfield Methodist Primary. Nan Hua Pri(temporarily holding plc) is near me but they do not take the existing sch address for the distant. I'm stressed up that I wouldn't be able to get my boy in to Fairfield. Any advice where or which sch should I stand a better chance. -

P1-IS refers to the online registration portal. That database was probably updated/synced with the official NRIC database on 31 May 2019.
Parents, received the notification from MOE stating below:
Address reflected in the P1-IS is the official residential address on both parents’ NRICs as at 31 May 2019. If the address in the P1-IS is different from that currently on your NRIC, please approach your school of choice with the required documents to register your child.
—————-
This does not mean address is per NRIC as of 31 May 2019 right?
We can still register at the school if NRIC address was updated before 3 July 2019 (start of P1 registration) , is my understanding correct?
I read MOE FAQ on home address doesn’t mention about 31 May but 03 July...
Therefore, if your NRIC is updated after 31 May 2019 (but before 3 July 2019), you have to register in person, face to face at the school. That’s what they mean by approach the school of choice. Walk in personally to the registration counter so that the staff can key in the address manually & override the default address. -
:thankyou:
:udaman:
do I need to cal school or MOE to confirm?
I also interpreted the same way as you, got a shock when I got the email...
Has it always been the same notification from MOE previous years?zac's mum\" post_id=\"1914930\" time=\"1560891585\" user_id=\"53606:
Yes it has always been like this. There’s always that lag time in the P1-IS database.

Why not just register for Hong Wen in Phase 2A and monitor the demand for Nan Chiau in Phase 2C to see if it is worth betting for?
Is it in time to withdraw on 2nd day? Or even 3rd day?
I would go for Hong Wen since low chance of securing a spot in Nan Chiau.Sfmq\" post_id=\"1912591\" time=\"1559119044\" user_id=\"141681:
Hi all..am staying in Punggol. Only within 1-2km from nan chiau( preferred sch). Wife’s primary school alumni is Hong Wen school. Not sure if should try balloting for nan chiau under the 1-2km category(which I think will be very over subscribed) or just go for Hong Wen.
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!! -

There are those gungho fellas that withdrawl and register in the last hour! I don't have the stomach for it. The morning of the last day would be a good time to execute your contingency plan.

You better check whether (a) the MOE person who told you need one day is ignorant; or (b) this year 2019 suddenly need so long 1 day to withdraw. I doubt MOE’s intranet system has gone retro and back into the 80s kind of dialup internet connection so slow... -
