Very lousy new format. The things that we liked about the old format (view everything on one screen), has been removed without consultation.

And the thing that we wanted to improve about the old format (show us the distance breakdown!!!), such feedback not taken or implemented.

      Grrrrrr

        Hi,

I'm looking at this summarised balloting history table ..

        https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/2019-p1-registration-balloting-risk/

Can anyone tell me if the colours (red, yellow, green) are further differentiated for balloting for SCs or PRs ? According to the legend code, balloting for SCs is yellow box with bold text and underline, and balloting for PRs is just yellow box. However, in table all I see are yellow boxes and text all the same.

        Thanks !

        JT

Useful numbers to look at (if not looked at yet)

10 years of data - but only until Registration year 2017 (which is last-last year)

Phase 2B data of Registration year 2018 from another source

I fully agree with you that this new format sucks. Its totally not user friendly.

it's a very crazy exercise to do for this year given the format provided to us.

i noted some school has total vacancies like 192. - need to offer to the exact number. :?

now only phase 1 ma, the bao-jiak phase.

maybe when it comes to 2A1, then we will see the MOE website having more information,

Actually, I thought the new MOE website format is quite good. The website is not meant for data-collectors or statisticians but for parents targeting a school or a few schools, it’s good.

If you run the simulator for the same school in the same phase several times, you will get slightly different results πŸ˜‰

                        hahaha
i think you are right - only KSP is interested in all the raw data !!

and has a considerable amount, sufficient to produce a 10 years series.
