you want to volunteer for your community where you stay in.
you go to your near CC to find out.
you apply and gets accepted and starts volunteering
you find out later that due your neighborliness spirit, you have a chance to apply under Phase 2B for the few schools within the zone that you are serving.
Congratulation.
if you are asking in the reverse direction, few people will attempt to help you. -
Thanks skii! Information is very helpful! Understand how it goes now. Appreciated.

Dear all, could anyone advise on the cut off date for Grassroot members? For example, for Parent Volunteers, they have a very clear cut off date of 40hrs by 30 June 2019. I can’t find any official information on Grassroot volunteers. Any idea?

As per MOE website, at the point of 2B registration, you need to provide the below letter
A letter of eligibility by the People’s Association for being an endorsed active community leader -

There is a clear cutoff date. You can search from the last 20 pages.

You must fulfill at least 2 years of service as a GRL by 30 June. -
Dear all,
I hope I am asking the questions in the right thread…
Based on what I read, I understand there’s a possibility for me to use the address of a yet-to-be-completed property for primary school registration - as long as I move in to the address within 2 years (from the day my child starts school?) and I suppose update my NRIC with the new address.
My question is, if I am an existing GRL, am I able to also make use of this new address so that PA will recognise me under the GRC of this new address rather than the one I am currently staying at?
Thank you. -
I think can’t because
1) PA’s record is directly off the central data base - ie, your nric address.
Thus pa will not even capture your not completed yet property address, let alone recognizing it.
Why should it anyway? Think about it. Your yet-to-be-completed address is only a string of text on the purchase agreement while you are still physically staying somewhere and volunteering at your physical residence.freezeny\" post_id=\"1918620\" time=\"1562695808\" user_id=\"114500:
