If let’s say this is a small school, at p6 level only got 4 classes. Each class have around 38 students, make it simple … assume got 40 students, per class. Total 4 classes, will be 160 students. 20 out of 160, is around 12.5 percent, is reasonable

Your child’s school should have an intake of 210. 20 out of 210 ~ 9.5%.

The top 10% COP should be around 250+ last year. Hence, your child’s school is performing average to slightly below average (depending on your \"about\" is how many \"about\")

your dc definitely guai type..

I think writing is good also eg for writing compo..tutors will ask the kids to copy (I think) ..looks like that's the way to learn..but dd dont quite like it and I prefer not to force (i know I m giving dd too much freedom liao..I hope wont get abused)

I can only know if she is really proper revision from her marks (see if got improvement for eg) and thru marking of past year papers given to her usually near exam.

btw, when picked dd up today..got up the car told me not to mention psle .. else she will have breathing difficulties..that was told in a half joke manner..but well..I better catch the ball..

haha so young n our kids can make these kinda remarks... mine will make such remarks too... told me having headache after class.. i said go home take paracetamol.. then replied me - 'it's literally but also figuratively'... so i was like oooooo.... ok.

my ds will say ok, do. but take his own sweet time to copy.. sometimes must use carrot or threaten before doing. n as anyone can guess, the quality of copying like handwriting isn't too good too... but no choice for now, must force to read/ write esp chinese.. so resorted to such methods.

Mrs Kiasu, at least you can still keep for dd2. Like one ksp mummy ever said, sometimes I wish there were beepers installed at Popular bookstore that would sound loudly and prevents me from entering, like XXXXXXX like that...especially p1 to p4 years last time, really no experience and overbuy and had since sold some and given away some...left p5 and p6 books now...maybe I should start a thread to do garage sale here after 3 October....

haha i think we are all over eager n need this function!!! spells trouble for us n the kids if we are still buying new books at this period... how to finish using...

Not top sch lah, just a popular neighbourhood sch. Recent years approx 10+ go NYGH/RGS and approx 10 go RI/HCI
