ahahaha, gum siah --- I was thinking of durian this morning on my way to work actually!!! Havent got a chance to drag kids to a feast yet this year...

The actual address you mean the Wikkie road one? they will move back by 2022 I heard .. I m registering my boy for CHS this year and my girl is still 3 years apart but I m already thinking of it (in case PV is needed for SMPS even though we live with 1km).

any review for SMPS would be highly apprecaited šŸ™‚
Yes, you will have to use the Wikkie road address and it's better if you ask this question 3 years later because a lot of things can change within these 3 years šŸ˜‚

Right now, SMPS is not *that* popular despite:
      - Having an affiliated sec school (and a reasonably good one based on COP).
      - Being the OLDEST girls' school in Singapore (founded in 1842 and only RI, est. in 1823, is older) (unfortunately, it's premise has limited facilities, which will, obviously be a non-factor once the school upgrade is completed).
      - Being in a prime location (but haven't seen any major residential redevelopments and is one of the hardest school to get to).

Other than the difficulty in getting to the school - up / down the hill, nearest bus stop / MRT station is a distance away - the upgraded school should have an increased appeal in a couple of years time. It is, IMHO, one of those good schools that get overlook by Singaporeans (because they are too busy looking elsewhere).

By right the sibling should the take the form home for parents to complete. However, the sibling might take the form and treat it as rough paper. Form completed sibling never submit due to don't want to be in the same school. Parent forgot to complete and baa baa.
        Hahahhaha hahhahaha

Hi! I’m looking at clementi primary at 2c - pr > 2km...the table was quite confusing..wondering anyone had any input on the chances?
Chances should be rather good. in recent years, only last year (2018) (out by 1 applicant) and 2014 (out by 2-3 applicants) required balloting for 2C for PR>2km.

This year the phase 1 is 76 applicants versus 108 last year. so i think this year should be 2C no balloting required

not very safe. last year was balloting for within 1km. 133 applied last year at phase 2c
This year the phase 1 applicant drop from 95 to 71 so should be less competitve than last year but still looks like a borderline (meaning may need balloting for 1-2km).

if you are really keen to apply KC, you need to know the breakdown of the applicants during 2c and assess how many slots left for 1-2km.
