i, i'm a newbie here..my daughter will be entering Primary 1 in 2021. Thinking of applying for Kong Hwa since my new address will be within 1km for SC. Most likely will be subject to balloting. Any views on what are the alternatives available? Much appreciated, thanks!

I just checked last year at 2CS Marymount convent need to ballot within 1km. That means it’s no longer that safe to put Marymount convent at 2CS. Please advice.

Not sure about the source of your info but I will stick to official announcement (which zac’s mum has screenshot).

This is a risk assessment, i.e. guesstimating the likelihood of balloting at a given distance in a given phase. It is not a sure thing, and didn't indicate whether it's for SC or PR.

This link only predicts the statistical risk of the school going into balloting for this year 2019. It is not what actually occurred in 2018.

Interpreting this table, I think it means that there is 0.3 risk (relatively low chance of occurrence) of Marymount going into balloting for SCs <1km at phase 2CS.

If u wish to see how it will play out, just follow the update as we enter 2CS this year. Anyway, your turn is next year.
