i see, they going to build another brand new building (centre), within NUS High premises soon, to accomodate more 2020 Sec 1 students admission ?

They are building the indoor sports hall.
Targeted completed by Semester 4 2019 and to be opened for use in 2020.

My girl felt physics was challenging but enjoyed doing the experiment. General and writing was fun too. Bio and Chem was easy and above all they had lots of games and thoroughly enjoyed yesterday.

My son said overall it was fun and challenging . He said he didn’t have time to finished 2 questions in Bio and he only wrote 1/2 a page for English writing.

The best takeaway -He enjoyed and learnt a lot.

Just some advance planning. Might be rejected or no interview at all.

Are we able to reschedule the interview if in the event we got shortlisted? Just realised that the Prelim Oral is on 30 Jul (afternoon).

If is Prelim Oral, internal within your own school, u can approach your school lao shi, see if can re- arrange another day, because after all, Prelim Oral is one to one (solo). Besides, is Prelim Oral, not PSLE Oral. Anything that is internal, within your own primary school matter, easier to approach, discuss. Just tell your school the Truth, they will understand

But, NUS High Selection camp test need your son to interact with other peers, in a group, because that is how they going to assess (evaulate) your son, inside a group situation. They need a group situation. Harder to change.

                  Thanks Phtthp!

Guess I got to ask my boy to approach his teacher in the event he got shortlisted for interview. I am still thinking if NUS High will reschedule as we have come to far and it's so so wasted if we will to give up at this stage.

Guess we got to wait for the status update. Should be out by this week as interview is stated to be conducted on 30 July.

                    Hi myrick88,

Don't know if they change it this year ... in the past, those who have to attend the interview are the borderline cases (interview with Principal/Vice-Principal to confirm). The majority, confirm in or out, does not have to attend interview.
