But hey, ACS wannabe parents understand lah, these new citizens are about 'securing our future together'. It's a little sacrifice for being 'with you, for you, for Singapore'. -
One parent in my kindergarten WhatsApp group even had the cheek to post this SOS: we received the letter from ICA that our son’s citizenship was approved. But the MP is not available to award the citizenship certificate until few months after P1 registration. How ah?
Anyway, maybe those new citizens will raise the CL and HCL standards in ACS over time. -
Disagreed. Those i spoke to, plan to make SG as a stepping stone. Hopefully their kids can get into 明校 in SG, and pull out to UK, US or Canada before enlistment dates.

Some schools have to be the 'sacrifice' in attracting all the New Citizens mah.
ACSJ / ACSP / SJIJ plus SCGS and the availability of property around are a good magnet for this class of citizens. -
If u notice, practically every school in SG also got. Just a matter of whether they managed to get their PR or SC cert that’s all.
