Hi I'm registering my son under phase 2c. Is it safer to register on the last day, i.e. 1 Aug at the school of choice directly when more or less we know the chances of getting in? Am choosing btw frontier pri and jurong West which is both within 1km from my place..
Yes safer
Was at SJIJ, so if anyone wants the stats let me know. Basically SC > 2km is balotting. Same for CHIJ TP but I didnt get the stats. At least I can say I tried...!

Won't st anthony primary co ed be logistically better and travel shorter? Affiliated to SJI and St pats. of course can spilt school to CHIJ Kellock.

Hi Lexy, did consider it, but my wife and I want to be able to do school run then go to work, and St Anthony's is west in Bukit Batok away from CBD. Thank you for you suggestion, but anyway I guess we will see 2C and decide between QTPS and BTPS. I hope all the parents in 2B get their kids into their choice school.
QTPS 2C applicants

2015 - 94
2016 - 118
2017 - 96
2018 - 172

lets hope its a fluke result last year. although the current TUR until 2B is even higher than last year. Even if there is a balloting this year, you should assess the odd and see if its within your threshold. all the best.

Hello all, looking for your guidance.

Will Fernvale Primary be safe for PR > 2 KM in 2C? The distance from home is 3.5 KM as per Google maps.

Thank you in advance!

Hi All,

I am newbie here… i am planning to put my girl to chij kellock (sc < 1km) on phase 2c. However, recently i got so many bad feedback from my friends about girl school, and it makes me worry. Unfortunately, i have no one that i know from chij kellock.
Therefore, anyone in here having girls studying at kellock? May i know your comments on the girls and the school environment there?
My other choice for mixed school is radin mas (sc < 1km also), but from the history, it will need balloting on phase 2c, and chance of getting in might be only 70%. If i don’t get it, i will not know where to go on 2cs…
Any advise please… thank you

Bad feedback about girls school? That’s so general and labeled. We don’t need that kind of comment. Personally , I think single sex school has the best potential to learn. Just IMO.
And you should choose CHIJ based on the fact that it's the nearest for convenience and affiliation to Sec, with rich history. No balloting will save your headache as well. You will not regret.
