Hi can I check if the results of PSLE oral will it be told to the student earlier only in Nov? Thanks

Will only know the grades for the subjects with the overall aggregate score on results day (which will be announced only later.) No breakdowns of components by subjects will be given.

You will be sorely disappointed. Yes they took away \"exams\" officially. But streaming still has to occur at the end of p2. So guess what, schools insert all sorts of \"performance tasks\" or whatever other names they want to hide it under. By the way, no intention to whack. Just sharing a POV for parents who are interested to see a new perspective.

In my son’s school, the streaming serves only the purpose of spreading the kids evenly into all mixed ability classes. The “top 1-2 classes” system is being made obsolete by MOE too.

Thanks for speaking out. MOE has changed things. Schools are changing things. Parents are also adapting. Now it’s the tutors’ mindset that has to change.

For Chinese oral, does yr school still ask the question : " 请你谈一谈你在录像中看到什么？“


I noticed for mine, this question no longer being asked during the 2 most recent orals. Does it mean PSLE
oral not required to list out the things / events happening during the video?

No idea but go for quality rather than quantity? I spent quite some time revising/teaching/reinforcing science concepts and answering techniques every weekend I remembered. Maths my gals were very strong so only gave very challenging recycled questions from sch. HCL/CL I outsourced. EL- I extracted vocabulary/compre close/synthesis for them to practise. Rest of time, they still go for their dance or other enrichment classes. It’s manageable.

dd been studying on her own, in her room with a headphone listening to music..I should say 90% of her time is looking at the laptop.. I m not strict enough laptop always back to her.. yesterday I saw her on Ma online .. like game earning points so I told her today I will do up timetable lor haiz...

our hcl/cl I fully dependent on teacher/tutor. Ma on her own. Eng I bought the little package fm lilxxx and she has tuition. It is the Sci I m more worried ... I always think err..better to read revision books (need?) or just do papers..
