I have registered for GRL but no news yet. It’s been about 1.5 months!

My suggestion would be not to put too much hope on the GRL route. Unless you know somebody who know somebody, it's not a guarantee that you will get get the invitation to join. If they insist on having you as an observer before appointing you, you may not meet the cut-off date of 1 July 2020.

My experience is we need to keep emailing or call them , else they are slow. It takes me 3 months to get to their 1st meeting and another 11 months to be observer. So need to push and push

Depends on area actually, if that area lacks volunteers then maybe might expedite. 3m processing is due to background checks bla bla bla...

Actually need invitation to join? I applied online, ed them, sound nice and plead the staff la. Ask him help me expedite. All processing and background check in 2 months. Maybe try to call pa hotline to check your application.

I ask the school to register for PV but they said too early. This year only for SG50 babies 2015. Hahaha
