For Fairfield 2B, how to know in which distance category of the applicants?

I see 51 applicant for 32 seats currently.

MOE website have updated... 66 seats available during 2C for SHPS...115 seats for Poi Ching..

although SHPS TUR until 2B is lowest in 13 years, applicants numbers:

SHPS folks has an average risk threshold of 2+ times, you need to assess your risk threshold.

POi Ching has the lowest TUR in 13 years.. May have a slight chance of 1-2km ballot (although the odds should be quite poor)

You are correct! Agree with you, for SHPS I think it's about 2.8 times oversubscribed for past 10 years...very risky.

For Poi Ching, if we are stay <1KM, is it slightly safer without balloting this year?

Punggol Green should be hot balloting <1km. Probably Horizon has more chances as TUR still low.

Punggol Green should be hot balloting <1km. Probably Horizon has more chances as TUR still low.

punggol green - one of the school that got cut the most places for intake. from 320 to 250. the applicants number so far is just 3 less than last year. If people never look properly, close eyes and just apply, very chaotic.

The new school valour need to take some heat off the others.

Punggol cove, punggol view, waterway all seems to heading to ballot this year. with the density in the estate, everyone seems to stay near.

Phase 2C is likely to start with 47 vacancies, the lowest of all schools in Punggol (even fewer places available than Mee Toh :scared: ).
Punggol Green should draw the biggest fire, followed by Mee Toh, and hopefully, the rest will even themselves out.

Dear all.

I stay near Horizon primary school but my first choice is Mee Toh (within 1km). I’m not sure if I’m risking my child’s chance to go HPS in the event I’m outta Mee Toh’s ballot. Any advice please.
