hello, we live 2.34 km from qifa primary and are SCs. are there any recent stats that could tell me whether we should try for phase 2C and what the chance of success is?

For most recent stats, must refer to MOE website.
As far as past years are like, definitely no chance for PRs under phrase 2C.
However, SCs staying more than 2km away have a high chance of balloting. For applicants who fall under this category had to go balloting for the past few years except one year, when the cohort size was cut down by one class, SCs staying within 1km to 2km had to ballot.

Oh my goodness. I think the cohort size for this year (240) is the same as the cohort size for last year, and last year I heard that SCs>2km had to ballot. I hope that we will be able to make it. Thanks for the info.

            Hi

Congratulations who ever got into qifa. We are PR staying in 2km distance, i want my child to learn Hindi language in school. The only available school is qifa with Hindi language. Compared to last year this year 2c vacancies are more in qifa. What will be my chances of getting into this school. If I apply online and it’s not possible for pr’s to get through they will ask me to withdraw the application? Or in person I should go to school to check on the application status and get advise from school whether I should apply for qifa?Seriously looking to get into qifa.
            Thanks in advance

Probably register at school on the last day 01-Aug. Check if any chance for you based on stats.
              Find another backup school also

Really have to check the stats actively. For the past years, PRs really will not stand any chance. I will advise you to look for another potential school just in case.

Thanks for the reply. Will the school management asks to withdraw or not to apply for pr based on applications and vacancies?

If you apply at the school and there are no chance for PR by distance, most probably they will advise you, or best you ask them.

Yes. Past few years, the school would call to inform the parents for withdrawal processes on day 2 n 3. Sometimes might even call on day 1. Really depends on the number of registration received.

That is really kind, didn’t know they will call to inform.
