I called up DLS but the admin cant reveal the breakdown! Not sure the result too odd this year or they never provide any breakdown in the past!
Will try walk in to enquire later.
What’s the point of trying to enquiry today?

As long as applicants < vacancies, the admin is under no pressure to release the breakdown and neither is it helpful to have the breakdown at this point when there are 1 more day to go.

Hi, anyone has breakdown for SC < 1km for SCGS? Called up admin but they said they don’t have the information which is weird as I see information being shared on other schools here.

          Dear Gurus,
would like to find out the chance of my kid (SC, within 1km) getting into Northland Pri in Phase 2C.
Base on yesterday status 220 application vs 81 vacancies available.

The others school within 1km as below. Which one is the next?
-JieMin Primary School (69 application vs 84 vacancies)
-Naval Base Primary School (96 application vs 146 vacancies)
-Peiying Primary School (32 application vs 115 vacancies)

          Thank you in advance.
Northland probably 3:1, if you can take the high risk then go ahead. Naval Base and Peiying are safe for 2CS.

I am also very surprised. However, I guess it is mainly cos Valour and Green are the only pri sch within 1km for those staying at the end of Sumang area... so since green is so fully booked, majority go for valour...

Totally understand the concerns of those staying over in those Matilda’s projects. Notwithstanding, given that Punggol Cove is 92 for 122 and Punggol View is 78 for 121, ie their next 2 nearest schools in Punggol, I do expect some applicants for Valour will have a change of heart. Valour may be nearer but it’s not necessarily easier to get to. Should have some more movement over these 2 days.

May not necessarily easier to get to means they may even need to ballot? So is it still safe to go for PVPS in 2C and Valour as backup in 2CS? Dilemma now....[/quote]No. I mean if you have to use public transport, Valour isn’t necessarily the easiest school to get to.

At this moment, seems very safe to have PV and Valour backup as an option.

Probably call on last day to check again. Odds should be good for <1km.

                Hello all,

We went for SHPS <1km P2C through online registration, forgoing TPS <1km. Our backup for P2CS will be TNPS 1-2km. You guys reckon this is a sound plan? Any alternative suggestions will be much appreciated. SC parents btw. Thanks in advance!

When will we know when if balloting is required?

Call the school to check applicants by distance. Else MOE web will show by Friday hopefully.

Thanks, but Friday is too late to decide on any change, right? So we've to rely on other posters to know the distance-type stats basis their calls / visits to schools?

Best is to call / visit the school, and also post the stats here 🙂

Registered at Westwood PS yesterday and was informed that all 68 registrants at that time (2:30 PM) were Singaporeans within 1km.

Latest update in website is 47/74. Not sure if all are still SC within 1km though. Could be.

I thought snake babies are lesser than dragon babies? Hehe

                      Any other Westwood hopefuls?

TPS <1km sure in. SHPS high risk if you can take. TNPS safe for 1-2km 2CS.
If willing to risk and if fail, gotta travel further to TNPS. Or just get the nearer TPS with no risk.
