      Hi Gurus,
i am planning to apply for southview at P2C. However, as i back wanted to find out if Unity PS will be available for P2CS or balloting will be required in that phase too if not chosen now.
Unity might or might not have vacancies in 2CS. If have, probably also face balloting. Monitor the vacancies closely till last day.

        Hi,

Would like to ballot for Tao Nan for SC within 1 km and the backup plan would be either Haig Girl or CHIJ Katong. Any idea which one is better academicwise ( we don't care about the religion).

        Thanks a lot.
Agree with the other post that the consideration would not be which is better but which is available in 2C S.
There might not be any vacancies left after 2C, an example would be TKPS as balloting is required in 2C this year; which has never happened before in the last 6 years.

Tanjong Katong PS was in our backup plan as it showed good opportunity during P2C, but now... 101 application vs. 95 vacancies...
if your first choice is good enough, you will not need this backup plan right? TKPS drop 40 places so not enough in 2C. if you still need backup, look somewhere else

Juz to share the status of Poi Ching in Tampines.
Called to school and asked, the current applicant number is 134 for Singapore Citizen within 1KM. The available vacancy only 115. So mostly need balloting.

Wah, so fast all. My first choice is St Hilda’s, but looks like chances is Low, so most probably I will try Poi Ching.

I think 134 was before afternoon session started at 2:30pm...then how about now...more applications on the way :scared: . Have you check with St. Hilda's? Do you have the number?

If your threshold is fine with the usual odd, then you are within, if its already beyond, you have to move on.

Overall numbers in tampines show about 200-250 pax still to come out today and tomorrow. (maybe all move away? 😂 )

any acceptable 2CS options to fall back?[/quote]

Went to SCGS to ask for breakdown of <1km and 1-2km. No answer was given. Not sure why they are so secretive about the numbers.

Last yr the total application only 158 for 59 vacancies.

That's bad. Did they give the overall applicants?
