Do u hv only 1 backup school for P2CS? If you are near bukit batok/ jurong east area, there are few relatively safe P2CS backup. But of course you have to be comfortable to consider those schools. -

Hi all, my boy is SG50 and we currently have 2 options, Hong Wen within 1km and St Andrews 1-2km. We will be in Phase 2B for ST andrews due to religion background but I will still attempt to apply for PV at Hong Wen due to it being within 1km from our place.
What do you guys think of our chances at St Andrews for 2B 1-2km? Do you think we will be squeezed out due to distance or its a shoo-in. I have checked the stats for 2018 (dragon babies) and St Andrews only required balloting for more than 2km at Phase 2B. -

Not all <1km, mostly also 1-2km. But 2B seems quite promising. This year probably try Hong Wen PV then for backup.

BVPS and YPS is relatively safe until P2Cs.[/quote]️[/quote]You might want to prep yourself with other alternatives if ballot require for JPS. FYI, JPS reduces 30 vacancies this year, hopefully they will reinstate the 30 in to cater bigger cohort for 2022 batch (SG50 babies).
