Total 68 applications: 66 applicants <1km, 2 applicants >1 km -

for 2CS, at the moment look like vacancy and applicants will be rather close. the reason being 30 spaces cut from the intake. But usually woodland area people just want to avoid ballot in 2Cs. FYI, last year 56 applied for 76 spots, not over subscribed.
Asking on behalf of a friend.
What's the odds of Woodlands Ring Primary School for 2CS, 1 - 2km.
Based on past stats (hope I study it correctly), have vacancy except for last year, a slight oversubscribed. -
HI Lexy,
Please share on how u derive this figure?
\"Overall numbers in tampines show about 200-250 pax still to come out today and tomorrow. (maybe all move away?
\"
last year 2C total applicants is around 823, this year until ytd only 627.
And until 2B in 2019, the turn up is actually 230+ lesser than 2018 people.
Overall intake in tampines cut by 180.
If i assume govt's internal stats is super accurate, then around 200 plus should still yet to come out.
Looks like no problem to fulfil the needs of Tampines residents
The problem is obviously due to the concentration is usually on the 5 schools in the area.
This year, no matter how i see the numbers, its not as bad as past 2 years, as the base number is more in 2C, odds will generally be better than last year and 2017. -

Thanks Lexy for the clarification! misread the figures. As you mentioned, 30 spaces were taken out, will it make a difference?

U can wait til last day n ask. Last yr there were 68 dragon applicants for PLMGS within 1km. There was 50+ after the first day so 62 isn’t a lot more. I withdrew from another school and went over last yr. All within 1km got in and there was one place left as someone fr earlier phase withdrew so many 1-2km ballot for one seat. Sent u a pm just now.
Thank you so much! Just called, as of today 4.37pm, total no. of SC 1km< applicants is 75. Accounted for both online and offline applicants.
Thank you Lexy and all for the reply!FongBelleBelle\" post_id=\"1924556\" time=\"1564533864\" user_id=\"165391:

I think you have good info at hand, get the numbers at the end of the today then tomorrow decide in the afternoon if you want to withdraw and register at PLMGS. Please kindly check all the necessary documents required for TOP or newly completed unit with the PLMGS and no hiccups here. Odd threshold has to be mutually accepted by both parents, know what you in for. I think all SC <1km should be safe. (last year 66 within 1km for 68 spots, and 93 applied, so many >1km :faint: )
Yangzheng - someone else will be happy when you withdraw as it will be full by 2C. so there is no turning back once you withdraw.
OLGC first day number is higher this year. you need to spare 13-15 for 2Cs for your within 1km to work. then again, if there is balloting, then 30 month rule may apply.
Anyone has insights/ feedback on YZPS vs OLGN?
What other schools could we possibly look at? No siblings for now so co-ed school isn't a major concern.
Tmr is D-DAY. -
Any one got the mix of applicants so far for southview primary school in P2C
-
Any distance statistics for RGPS, called but no answer. Thx in advance.

SC 1-2km
Looking at Junyuan and Tampines Primary…both should be safe so far? Anyone know if both school has student care?
Other sch within 2km (all 1-2km) are Damai, Poiching, St Hildas so basically no chance right… -
买定离手... for today at least.
Wait for MOE LATEST update. Should be an interesting contrast against yesterday's
-
Hopefully moe updates ASAP lol
