Yes i am already exploring possibilities of phase 3 cos phase 2cs will be oversubscribed at ngee an. Im within 1km.[/quote]Be mindful of your remaining options in Phase 3 if you are not successful in the ballot for Phase 2CS. The only nearby school left at that stage would be St Stephen (boys) or CHIJ Katong (girls) as all other primary schools are likely or have already exceeded their available vacancies. If all PRs play it smart and go for these 2 schools in this round, you may have to look at 2km and beyond for primary schools with places left.
Phase 2CS not 3 . Yes distance matters at 2CSHendon\" post_id=\"1927056\" time=\"1565138439\" user_id=\"142376:

Does anyone understand phase 3 well?
How random is it? Will distance be a consideration for SC? -

Orb, I believe ever since MOE started the computer balloting, there is no avenue after 2CS to indicate your school preference by approaching MOE.
After phase 2CS, if you are SC or PR you can approach MOE and indicate your school of choice (those with vacancies left). Phase 3 will be first come first serve.ailee1548\" post_id=\"1927049\" time=\"1565137862\" user_id=\"180191:

Strategy for 2CS is to go for schools with as many vacancies as possible in order to avoid a balloting. If your intention is to still go for balloting, by all means as long as you feel you can live with the balance of the schools with vacancies.
The SMS on the result announcement day (if unsuccessful at the 2CS school) will already indicate MOE’s allocated school (applicant has zero say in the matter). See screenshot of FAQ:

Maybe the system is overloaded because 2C got thousands of SMSes to be sent out. Please be patient.

Congrats! So the computer is not sending out in alphabetical order of school name.
Maybe in order of child’s BC number? Any December kids received already?
