Another important factor is your distance to the schools. Every 5 minutes saved is 5 extra minutes of sleep/ breakfast time every day.

congrats to all 2020 intake who got into the school of their choice in phase 2c. All of my kid's classmates also successfully got into HWS and NYPS under phase 2C. It was a nailbiting week for all of you - now can breathe

Nice to see success at HWS! Must ask my kids' classmates as well, many were gunning for it.

ngee ann in 2012, TUR was 98% until 2C.
2CS applicants was 3 times of the number of vacancies. Please set your threshold risk and also get a backup school under 2Cs if it breaches your threshold.

I am not suggesting you to give up your <1km slot or saying the odds will be similar but know your risk.

(eg moving house, move to overseas with parents etc) but what is the chance? very rare.. please don't put too much hope for this, but you can always try and ask the school from time to time.. (provided you want to do that)

Hi all, may i check what’s the procedure for putting my LO on waitlist at a pri sch? Do I register under pri sch transfer at MOE website or go down personally to the sch? Must I wait till 2CS or phase 3 end to do so?

Waitlist procedure is done directly at the school(s) you’re keen on. Each school has entire discretion how they want to do it. So check with the school cos only they know.
