wow! 4 primary schools with 1 vacancy left. Not too sure if there are any brave parents trying…

I would think St Stephen’s and CHIJ (Katong), Marymount and St. Anthony Cannossian would likely be the popular schools in this phase.

There are a few gems in there, very accessible via MRT. Or u may find one that has a direct bus (public bus) to your home. That’s very worthwhile considering.

If u are not <1km, of course need to monitor the numbers carefully.

Be very very safe, becos if balloted out then MOE will choose a remaining school for you. Which could be the other end of the island for all you know.

Hi I am kind of new in this forum. Just a question to ask if anyone knows the answer. Anyone having any idea or any feedback of Northoaks Primary School in Sembawang? My son is SC and didnt manage to secure a place in P2C due to heartbreaking balloting result, but there is not many vacancies left for most schools in Woodlands (i stay near Admiralty). So my best bet would be Northoaks Pri (within 1-2km) coz this school is still having more than 150 vacancies. Anyone having any feedback for this school? Thank you.

Wow does it mean for the schools with only one vacancy left and if nobody dares to go for it, some lucky soul might get assigned to it at phase 3?!

Unlikely. More likely that they will leave it empty and let the kids (and teachers!) enjoy a better student:teacher ratio.

National Day long weekend is coming up. May I suggest you use the down time fruitfully by driving and/or taking public transport to recce the logistics those 2CS schools that you are considering. That is what some smart parents did last year.

                      Dear all

Is there anyway to check what is the composition of the applied # like the distance they belongs to. Eg: stay less than 1km; stay between 1-2km and stay more than 2km?

I ballot unsuccessfully in Nan hua primary school in phase 2c and is hoping to apply clementi primary in phase 2C supp. Unless I know how many ppl failed in phase 2c belong to more than 1km, i have no idea what is my chance when there is balloting in phase 2c supp which i think so. PHASE 2C NHPS 20/96 and Qifa 120/126. Left 76+6=82 assume all applied phase 2c supp for Clementi PS = 47/82. Half the chance if assume all is less than 1km. Can i say 76 may consist of more than 1km and hence my chance r higher?

In the scenario if i am still unsuccessful in phase 2c supp in clementi PS, will moe post me to Pei Tong PS if there is still vacancy after phase 2c supp.

Or should i just try a primary sch that is further than 2km and put ky kid on waiting list for NHPS for P2 since they r now upgrading and may have more vacancy coming 2021?

Love to hear your expert advise.

                      Lost father.

IMO, if you have a chance to ballot in Clementi, probably can try since most likely MOE will post you to the nearest school Pei Tong based on their preference over distance criteria. But you must have a strong preference over Clementi to take the risk
