Thanks for the suggestions. Will KIV for another time. Trouble is, I am always watching my weight as it goes up so easily! I can gain 1kg over a couple of meals out in a weekend.

        Happy Anniversary Slmkhoo.

Go enjoy and don’t worry so much about your weight. You gain a kg over weekend of indulgence, then when you go back to your normal diet on weekdays and the weight will go off again.

For an anniversary, some indulgence is worth it.

There is a controversial NTU freshmen orientation cheer circulating around. Sorry I burst out laughing when I played the video but DH gave me a very face palm look.
These kids probably didn't realise they already Ord from ns

What has NS got to do with it? πŸ˜‚

                    I'd rate the cheer:
10/10 for creativity (honestly, never heard that one before).
5/10 for humor (people got to stop taking things so seriously).
0/10 for being political correct (yah... can understand why NTU is VERY upset about it).
0/10 for good manners or refinement (yes... it's downright uncouth, can understand why NTU is VERY upset about it).
10/10 for attitude (FFS, why should 20+yo give a shit about what other people think).

                    25/50 borderline passed πŸ˜†

I'm a mountain tortoise when it comes to eating at restaurants. heartache to pay for expensive food and the service charges/GST...all the +++

We don't usually eat at restaurants either. But this is a special occasion (wedding anniversary yesterday). In the end, we're feeling too lazy to go further or try a new place, so we'll probably just go to a sushi place nearby. Our main purpose is to just chill and talk anyway, not the food.

Happy Wedding Anniversary....most important part of the relationship is to communicate.

If I could be sure of losing the weeked gain, I wouldn't mind, but it tends to hang around unless I really watch what I eat and do some exercise during the week. It's only because I'm trying to be careful that I've managed to stabilise my weight over the past year. Same with holidays - either I watch myself more carefully during the holiday, or have to be prepared to work harder after. But I've always found gaining weight easy and losing hard, even when I was young. Must be genetic?
