One of the school's prelim CL picture compo is regarding misbehaving during outdoor learning/learning journey (ended up straying away from the group). Important to remind the kids that while climax is usually in picture 3-4/4-5, sometimes the story can peak really late. Thus, planning (5-ish minutes) is important, so that they plot their story and allocate enough time accordingly. All the best for Prelims!

完成 - walking towards 2 friends who were whispering
- flashback to sports day

Another CL 看图 topic - father and daughter running in park, witnessed robbery, victim was hurt, father gave chase

Do they sell 2017 prelim papers? My dd completed most 2018, i am not sure if i should get 2017 papers or just get those PSLE specimens they sell in bookshop. So sick of marking ..hahaha... esp those open ended..worse when answer wrong and for even mcq..! Any good chinese compo resource to recommend ?

DD did psle last year did prelim papers from 2015 all the way to 2018. Apparently in order to be fully prepared for such an important exam must go back at least 4 to 5 years full sets of papers including prelim.

Thanks for the advice but wont the syllabus be outdated? They did some exam qns in school from other schools, they teacher crossed out some qns for Math and science as they are irrelevant. I was worried it may confuse kid , u did select qns ?

Here are some plots related to 不负责任

- 玩完玩具后没收拾，造成意外/受伤
- 没完成功课就看电视/玩电脑游戏
- 隔天是考试，临时抱佛脚/根本没准备
- 跟朋友借书/玩具结果（自己/弟妹/宠物）弄坏
- 用完餐后没把碗盘拿到碗碟回收处（甚至弄脏满桌/地）
- 弄坏东西不承认（甚至还推卸责任）
- 答应外出的父母照顾弟妹，后来只顾做自己的事（如：看电视、玩游戏机），结果弟妹发生意外/受伤
- 没为小组活动/专题作业尽责（别的队友在工作/讨论时，只顾着做自己的事）
- 随手乱丢垃圾，结果别人踩到跌倒

You need to be familiar with what's relevant n whats not. In any case most of it is still very much in the syllabus n relevant. For maths tassalation is not in syllabus. Other than that only format change. Anyway i felt all of it was worth covering to expose the kid. Languages the more exposure better. Nothing is wasted. Science pick n choose as per moe requirements.
