From Jan 2020 onwards, the school day will end at 1.30pm on all days and all girls are expected to be in the school hall by 7.30am and lessons will begin at 7.45am.

I have 2 pinafores, one 2 day one 3 day. In p1 the pe only 2 days ( 4 periods ), so i suggest 1 4 each day.

Hi guys, I see that these posts are pretty new, I'm considering this school for my DD who will joining P1 in 2021. How is this school? Why is this a good option for people living within 2 km of the school? Please let me know what you guys think.

This school like any other school. For p1 p2 no banding according to academic standard. Pretty okay students, little bullies, i personally have not met 1 in my 6 yrs being there. Teachers r all good, the dm is actually a pretty good teacher, good principals. Bad thing is the student dont usually greet the teachers, its just not a culture there. Its a catholic school so also have some masses. Also, we greet our teachers with 'good morning *teachers name* and we wish you well' ( wish u well has like a sun action thingy ) and 'thank you *teachers name* may god bless u may ur guardian angels watch over u'
Ur kid will have a p4 buddy, and they may be a little reluctant to be with her coz they wanna be with their friends.
P1 n p4 recess together at 10am, p2 n p5 1030, p3 n p6 1100.
Theres also snack time, p1,2,4,5 after recess p3,6 at 9am
And the new indoor sports hall will be open! but then i cannot see it - 2019 p6 person

Its the classroom 4 brownie cca. At the 1st half or yr i hve to clean classroom coz its so dirty! Half empty food stuff occasionally. Please ask ur child to keep the class clean and tidy for the brownies! Thank you!

P1 n p2 classes, acc to my knowledge, is not academically assigned. More popular ccas r netball sch team but happy can already, don ned popular cca. Recommend brownies ( my cca lol ), altho kinda need to stand n hve drills n all, its still fun, u get along reaaally well with the others, especially those ur age + in ur six, which is a grp. There r events on sat morn ( 7.30 ) to about 1pm ish. Cca is on tues. ( 3.30 to 5.30 )Cca is about like basically everything.

i am also interested in enrolling my daughter in 2020. i am considering between chij katong convent and oln. anyone can give me any insight on the oln culture. i am from an english speaking family and kc has a strong emphasis on english. i was wondering if any one can comment on oln.

Oln:
When we greet tcher, we say n we wish u well ( for every level, even p6! )
Usually dont greet tcher wen we see, tho. Only in class. Vry little bullying cases. Most girls are quite kind and helpful. Ur kid will get a p4 buddy, buddy may be slightly reluctant, but they usually will try their best to help.
Oln chinese not so good, like most ij schools. Tchers also nice.
P6 r slightly reluctant to participate, tho has been getting better.
