Hi all
Anyone knows why there were two separate oral sessions for el and cl on the same day? I thought it is the same throughout the co-ed. Heard the second day cl was not easy. Does it mean kids whose cl fall on second day will have a disadvantage then?

I think based on previous discussion..was the other way round.. EL first day, CL 2nd day better?

Can't remember whether 1st or 2nd day for CL oral exam was easier....but the main reason for being \"easier\" was the conversational topic being on recycling, environment, sustainability etc. (becos a lot of teachers prepared their students for this topic), whereas for the other day, it was a more unexpected topic (something on how to improve interest in learning and the different modes of learning)
yeah I remember that coz dd told me the other one will be better for her, when I asked her.. anyway when I pressed her further, she says still ok la..over already, don't think too much about it.

          English day 1 easier.
          CL day 2 easier.

Is it true that if a child fails (less than 50) english or maths, he/she is deemed to have failed the PSLE and has to repeat the year? Or must failure be deemed as a “U” grade before a student has to repeat P6 again?

Repeat only if U graded for a subject.

Otherwise, will move on to NT in secondary school.
