Hi all,

How about the question on
- what props did the children need to make?

Is it:
1) monkey, tiger , torch
2) monkey tiger flower and torch
3) monkey bird and flower

(Not exactly sure about the components in the options but it's roughly these).

My DD chose 3 because she said the passage said that a boy offered to make a tiger mask but they declined it. Then they also said that they already have torch props for them. So the girl said she want to make flower.

Any supporters for (3) and think that it is correct? Passage indicated that the activity has been held for many years.. and not the first time.
In this case, to inform for(2) is like to make an announcement for a new activity? That is wat their sch tr taught them.

Me..my dd say she wrote 3 as the information given sounds like to remind and not the usual to inform like you mentioned. Her classmates answer was between 1 and 3

My Ds said option 3 cos torch already made

Same option 3. Mine also say torch already made. So far, already 2 wrongs for English LC. Really heart attack. Cant imagine written papers next wk

根据大家的只言片语，我大概整理一下， 是不是这样的题目？

下面播放一则通告：今天是交通安全日。。。大家平时过马路要小心。。。开车也要小心。。。
（1） 教导大家注意交通安全 （2）通知 大家有有这个活动 （3）提醒今天有这个活动 .

注意这个“平时”，就是教导大家平时也要注意交通安全。不是光是这个交通安全日要注意安全。
所以我想答案是（1）教导大家注意交通安全

My DD chose 3, because she said this Traffic alert warning Competition had been held for past 4 years consecutively, without fail.

Her friends say that is (1) because most of the question talk about 注意, but she think all the 注意thing is just telling them how to win the Traffic alert competition.

She also say not (2), because they said for past 4 years already 举办, so the people should already known, so is just 提醒。

But she is worried, because her best friend (classmate) said the passage didn't explicitly say that they are going to 举办 this year.

- how does the queen uphold peace in her kingdom

1) She ensured that her people got along with people from neighbouring kingdoms.
2) She had very strong powers
3) She was smart and could think of clever strategies to outsmart her enemies.
