        You missed out nanyang !πŸ˜€

If whole class got DSA, it must be the 9 primary schools that has GEP class which is highly sought after. Out of which, 4 are SAP schools - Nanyang, Nanhua, Catholic High and Taonan

PANDAPANDA shared in another thread openly that she stay in the east.
Plus the fact that her entire whole class All receive DSA offer, inference is, most likely is a GEP school like Tao Nan or Nanyang, or one of those Top Mainstream classes, from a SAP school[/quote]Could be Tao Nan? Only SAP with GEP class in the East

I think pandapanda is very kind to share with us about her DD's teacher suggested answer scheme for the CL LC. There are prob privacy concerns so let's not put her in a spot πŸ™‚

Nevertheless, it must be a top school for everyone in the class to have received DSA as we know it's getting more difficult these days to get DSA esp DSA from the top 4 schools.

                  Inference :

For the whole class to receive DSA offer, normally this type of class is either a GEP class, or one of those Top Mainstream classes

For SAP schools, at P6 level, Not compulsory that all P6 students must take Higher Chinese

                    example

In a SAP school that i came across, out of Total nine 2019 P6 classes, only 3 classes (out of 9) are taking HCL.
The balance of 6 classes, are taking Standard Chinese, not HCL.

In primary schools, PSLE Standard Chinese is taken only at P6, not at P5.

However, when come to Secondary schools, students can take O-level Standard Chinese, at Sec 3.
Only if they achieved certain minimum grade, then allowed to proceed forward to take O-level Higher Chinese, at Sec 4

The answer should be strong wind because for human movement, the narrator said they moved carefully.

But so many of her classmates said is human movement, because there was a wooden block, to block the wind

Have faith in your DD, maybe your DD is the one who got it correct in her class! πŸ™‚

My DS told me the hoping...Came towards the end of passage . So the danger with LC is kids assume the first answer n did not listen on to the rest...

The threat and human movement was mentioned earlier but in the passage, the narrator mentioned the human movement was controlled by the neighbours moving very carefully so as not to alarm the birds...

Whereas though a board was put up to block wind, it was mentioned the man Hoping it will be enough....

Hoping means the man is not sure and not confident that the nest can withstand the strong winds

That's what his teacher cannot jump to conclusions , must listen to the end of passage.

Oh thanks for clarifying. My memory is bad then, I remember taking my CL paper one year earlier. Must be the O level paper.

So for Psle the kids taking HCL need to do 5 subjects total in P6 year. All the best to the kids!
