2019 PSLE Discussions and Strategies (Children born in 2007)

Hi P6 parents…I hope this is not off topic…but my P3 is having SA2 oral and compo exams coming up this week & next week.
Hearing all the news about the haze on the radio etc, i suddenly panicked, the kids were not trained to talk about the topic 烟埋 (is this word correct?) at all. If Oral (or compo) suddenly tests this topic (it is after all, the HOT current topic now), what are some common words & phrases that the kids should know?
Eg haze = yan mai
Wear mask = dai shang kou zhao?
PSI index = ??? zhi shu?
Burning the forest = ? -

My DD said answer is attractive to human only because the butterfly didn't stop at the flower after flying one round. -

Yes, the butterfly stop at the real flower. So the question is \"In the story, the magician's flowers _____\".

Half the time? Or 1h? 45 mins, perhaps?
May I know how much time shall we allocate for Sci MCQ? -

Yes, because only real flower contain pollen, nectar which the butterfly can smell, can detect, get attracted to. Fake flower dont have all these
Confusion slightly unintensifies.
Same!! Dd said butterfly would be able to differentiate a real flower from a fake flower according to what she inferred from passage.sembgal\" post_id=\"1936413\" time=\"1569058462\" user_id=\"5559:

Ok thks. Think he is wrong then. He told me he heard \"hoping the strong wind .....\" mean the wind is still a threat.
Anyway we got to move on as we won't know the actual score too -

I believe its strong wind as, although there was a wooden block, he still said 'hoping'
But so many of her classmates said is human movement, because there was a wooden block, to block the windtub\" post_id=\"1936434\" time=\"1569064428\" user_id=\"6622:
The answer should be strong wind because for human movement, the narrator said they moved carefully.

My Ds chose strong winds . He refused to tell me why .😔
Have faith in your DD, maybe your DD is the one who got it correct in her class!
My DS told me the hoping...Came towards the end of passage . So the danger with LC is kids assume the first answer n did not listen on to the rest...
The threat and human movement was mentioned earlier but in the passage, the narrator mentioned the human movement was controlled by the neighbours moving very carefully so as not to alarm the birds...
Whereas though a board was put up to block wind, it was mentioned the man Hoping it will be enough....
Hoping means the man is not sure and not confident that the nest can withstand the strong winds
That's what his teacher cannot jump to conclusions , must listen to the end of passage.
He asked me to move on as if he is the parent
I just say that its okay to my parents
didnt tell them my ans

Feel threatened -> birds alarmed
But then does alarming the birds mean that it is a threat? For the EL LC
But bird feel threatened may not be a threat.
