Hello everyone,

Can I ask if its compulsory, to do the planning moubtain curve or planner for the composition for Psle exam?

different views from DS sons school and enrichment centrw...so very confused.

Are marks allocated to it?

Really appreciate your inputs.

Thank you..

Ps..Good luck to all our piggies..
It is not compulsory. The \"mountain\" diagram is just a useful tool to help your child plan the content for his composition. Even though it is not compulsory, I do advise that it is important to spend 5 minutes to plan out the content. This helps to ensure that the composition has an interesting twist, at least one of the pictures is covered in the composition, the ending refers back to the topic title. All these needs to be covered in the content to ensure no unnecessary marks is lost for the content.

Hi P6 parents…I hope this is not off topic…but my P3 is having SA2 oral and compo exams coming up this week & next week.

Hearing all the news about the haze on the radio etc, i suddenly panicked, the kids were not trained to talk about the topic 烟埋 (is this word correct?) at all. If Oral (or compo) suddenly tests this topic (it is after all, the HOT current topic now), what are some common words & phrases that the kids should know?

Eg haze = yan mai
Wear mask = dai shang kou zhao?
PSI index = ??? zhi shu?
Burning the forest = ?

But i tot the butterfly chose real flower outside over fake one that the magician give?

my kid said she chose the real flower, over the fake flower
*confusion intensifies* :scratchhead:

Yes, the butterfly stop at the real flower. So the question is \"In the story, the magician's flowers _____\".
So I think answer is 2, are attractive to human. Because it didn't attract the butterfly.
But it didnt attract the butterfly as it is fake? *confusion intensifies even more*

Half the time? Or 1h? 45 mins, perhaps?

Same!! Dd said butterfly would be able to differentiate a real flower from a fake flower according to what she inferred from passage.

Yes, because only real flower contain pollen, nectar which the butterfly can smell, can detect, get attracted to. Fake flower dont have all these
Confusion slightly unintensifies.
So liddat only attractive to human?

Ok thks. Think he is wrong then. He told me he heard \"hoping the strong wind .....\" mean the wind is still a threat.

Anyway we got to move on as we won't know the actual score too

The answer should be strong wind because for human movement, the narrator said they moved carefully.

But so many of her classmates said is human movement, because there was a wooden block, to block the wind

I believe its strong wind as, although there was a wooden block, he still said 'hoping'

Have faith in your DD, maybe your DD is the one who got it correct in her class! 🙂

My DS told me the hoping...Came towards the end of passage . So the danger with LC is kids assume the first answer n did not listen on to the rest...

The threat and human movement was mentioned earlier but in the passage, the narrator mentioned the human movement was controlled by the neighbours moving very carefully so as not to alarm the birds...

Whereas though a board was put up to block wind, it was mentioned the man Hoping it will be enough....

Hoping means the man is not sure and not confident that the nest can withstand the strong winds

That's what his teacher cannot jump to conclusions , must listen to the end of passage.
My Ds chose strong winds . He refused to tell me why .😔
He asked me to move on as if he is the parent
I just say that its okay to my parents 😂 didnt tell them my ans
