          Cloze passage :
          skeptical
          1) doubtful
          2) suspicious
          3) incredulous
          4) baffled

Asking for my friend's daughter, she put 1) doubtful..

          Incredulous

Any idea what the sentence was. No context hard to guess[/quote]question was something like that ...

She was sceptical if it was of any use. \"It\" refer to the telephone

My dd said exactly the same... she say its so \"weird\" the questions are unusual.. not really tough, tricky and not the bau kind of questions for grammar..
My friend's P6 daughter from another school said today vocabulary section was challenging, and her girl's English is powerful type, attend those high-end English tuition centre \"High ability\" class type

Synthesis & Transformation: “humility” or “humbleness”? Google says both seem ok?

Very sad. Only first paper and English is supposed to be DS’ best subject. Came back looked so discouraged…

DD in P6 ( SA1 and Prelim) usually wrote around 5.5 pages, for English composition. Today, she said wrote only 4 pages, because not enough \"meat\" to lengthen the story development plot.

She said she is better in writing \"problem solving\" type of composition, but not used to writing this type of \"Celebration\" topic. Frankly, last night, was reading several model compo on topic like \"Resilence\", \"Gratitude\", \"Consideration\", \"Bravery\", \"Kindness\", \"Responsibility, \"Misunderstanding\", \"Mischief\", \"A Desperate Act\", \"Regret\", \"Bully\", \"A Challenge\", \"Overcoming Fear\", etc.

She said was thrown off course, when given the exam topic, because maximum can only spend 5 minutes because after that got to write quickly, must plan what content about \"Celebration\" to write about, and how to develop ideas, lengthen the storyline quickly
