SIE (Supplementary intake) appeal, for admission into Specialized Secondary schools, start right after you received 2019 PSLE results slip, released very likely on Thursday, 21 Nov 2019


Whoever had given up CO, the seats (vacancies) will be released to interested students who had filled up SIE application form, subjected to an interview by the school.

Once successful via SIE, you will be allocated a seat into that school (SIE), and your name submitted to MOE, hence cannot participate in S1 posting anymore.

But, if unsuccessful for SIE intake, then Yes, proceed to participate in S1 posting, by listing down your 6 choices of Secondary schools, for Moe posting.

SIE application processing will take place first, right after the release of Psle results and the process need to be completed, before any S1 Moe computerised posting can commence using Tscore

last year (2018), there were some students who were given CO / Waitlist by Specialized Sec schools, but turned down CO/WL (for some reason), entered by SIE path instead via Tscore, because don't want to be bound by the DSA contract (term & condition). Of course, they must be mentally prepared to face & answer the Principal during interview : why did they turn down CO / Waitlist dsa in the first place, choose to enter by SIE path instead ?

Username123, the answer provided isn't very accurate (majority, if not all of these are produced by the company that sold the sch papers).

There is no need to mention that \"the script is adapted based from ... ...\". Also, if they need the student to state relevant fee, they will be clearer in their question. 好朋友 does not definitely means he/she must be a child ($15). If fee is required, they will state detailed information like 你六年级的同学志文 or 你的好朋志文友今年十岁 etc.

For note writing question (4 marks), language is worth 2 marks and content is worth 2 marks.

2019 is really turning out to be a tough year.Lets just hope that Science and Mother Tongue are easier than English and Math...

For Mother tongue, for Malay and Indian students who communicate daily at home with their family members in Malay / Tamil naturally, no issue.

Is us, Chinese students, potato kids who seldom (hardly) speak Mandarin at home, or don't like Chinese, likely to have an issue. But for China students studying in Sg, who speak Mandarin fluently daily at home, no issue lah, they will excel, score A * for Chinese

For Science,
since both Maths and English had already set the 2019 \"tough\" trend, likely to follow suit, this Tuesday (1 October), 8.15 am to 10 am (1 hr, 45 min duration)

But teacher won't deduct marks for additional relevant \"详情“ for the recipient, will she? Of course I don't mean plonk in all the redundant contact details of that lady, school group booking details, etc. Doing the latter will definitely cause you to be penalised. But at least a URL of the website for his buddy should be ok in this case, right?

I think chances of main theme + sub theme (in this way can they can cover both negative, or negative + positive mistake/values). is high --> i.e. instead of 2015, 2016, will be like 2014, 2017 and 2018.

Thus it's important to remind the kids to observe and analyze carefully for a more rounded plot and conclusion.
