But question 18 requires the energy conversion THE MOMENT it hits the ground…so CANNOT HAVE SOUND ENERGY because it is when the ball is bouncing back up .

My son’s from neighbourhood school. He said all papers are easier than his prelims. He practiced other top schools’ prelim papers which are easier, according to him. For prelim science paper 2 qns, many of his classmates incl himself got many 0s for the 1 mark qns.

Next is the killer paper HMT for him! His standard is - MT 75-80%, HMT 50-55% (ever failed) since P2. I just hope he can gain the extra 1 point!

if DD rmember correctly, its not friction. its due to gravity..[/quote]My DD also said the same. It's gravity. Cos only changing factor is the added weight. The rest are the same. Friction changes only when there is a change in surface.,ie, rougher or smoother.
