Time really files...... they are now left with 1.5 weeks of their primary school life......
My friend told me that last day of her daughter's primary school next week is Thurs (14 Nov), not Fri (15 Nov).

For her case, since today already Thurs (7 Nov), means left only one last week, for her girl's primary school education journey come to an end, say \"bye, sayonara\", wave goodbye to primary school

Dino,

Do u still recall that fateful day, the very first day of 2014 Primary 1, 6 years ago, when we (P1 parents then) went to the school canteen,

- watched how they q up, bought their first bowl of hot noodle from the tuck shop,

- watched how they got back their $ change, how we taught them how to count money when entered P1, count 10, 20, 50 cent coins ?

Ya suddenly now primary school life is coming to an end oredi. Last time was still worrying whether can get into the school or not, whether they can adapt to the longer and faster primary school pace or not.

With 261, can go to several IP schools, except NYGH (around COP 265), because above 4 scores might not reach (hit) 265. But if not targeting NYGH, no issue, can go to any IP school
Vacancies are abt demand and supply. Don't think its really that right to say if gotten 261, means can't get into nygh? Past year COPs are just for ref. Each year differs.....
Hi People,

I know it’s abit late now but can anyone Guess the range for my T-Score?

EL: 86-87
CL: 80-82
MA: 98-100
SC: 85-87 :thankyou:

About 261

Ok, back to Tscore, since our 2019 S1 posting is still entry by Tscore

above 4 subjects score are very good !

With 261, can go to several IP schools, except NYGH (around COP 265), because above 4 scores might not reach (hit) 265. But if not targeting NYGH, no issue, can go to any IP school
I recall that 2018 psle, cop for nygh is 258.

Hi 6thisnthat9,

suggest that since your above questions posed concern more for 2021 AL batch of students, perhaps u may prefer to re post your qn, into the correct thread

https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=92230&start=70

Because

Our 2019 psle batch still remain under the old Tscore system, going to be phased out soon, Tscore become ancient dinosair soon, plus the HMT issue which u newly raised, has to do with more with the new AL, not Tscore anymore. Moreover, many parents are more concerned with the new AL working, since they have younger children there taking psle from 2021 onwards

Thank you, for co- operation
Just needed a live example, current psle estimated scores, to illustrate and compare tscore vs AL. Whether tscore or AL, supply or admission places at each sch is fixed. Hence cop using tscore or using AL, should not change the criteria, unless you are saying it does ? In order to take into account of aggregating tscore, cop using AL will be higher, so it will not be direct conversion?

Noted that the discussion can be shifted, not to confuse this set of parents, who may have younger kids under AL too.

Thought i have used the word \"Around\" explicitly, in my original statement ?
265 is a realistic example, because 265 had been the COP for many past years, if one were to refer back to historical past years trend, except for an exceptional year which was 258 ?

Why 265, so high ?
Because NYGH take in many of her own Affliation girls. And what is their Affliation COP ? 250.
So, those affliation NYPS girls with (247 +3, or 248 +2, or 249 +1, or 250 + 0), inclusive of Higher Chinese bonus points, can go back to NYGH study IP directly, all the way up to A-level

Yes, of course u r right, in that past years COP are just for reference, each year differ

How they differ ?

In those years, whose COP was actually 265, with 261, can enter ? No

How about in that exceptional year, whose COP was 258, with 261, can enter? Yes

No is next Fri. But he brought back a letter asking parents to acknowledge attendance.

Programme scedule got stated all these award presentation.

In fact last year P5 his school also had. Just never clearly indicate who is 1st 2nd or 3th.
