Any parents of P5 Pei Hwa students here?

DD just got P5 Math SA2 results back - horrible! It came as a shock, cuz she’s been doing well until now. She mentioned only 1 kid got full marks, average score is 65-80. I asked if the score is moderated, but the teacher says no. DD now is really sad, no confidence. The teacher doesn’t want to tell the average score, so DD just assumes she did really badly, and is very scared of PSLE next year.

        Anyone has Maths horror stories?

Hi! My son is also in P5 this year. I heard Pei Hwa maths paper is always very tough and strict in marking. Actually is common to have drop in results this year. I didnt know there’s full marks in Maths, the highest in my son class is 97. i heard a lot of kids got 60-70

I heard 1 girl got 100 in dd class. Which class your son in?

It always amazes me how there can be kids who breeze to 90+ in Maths. For same paper, my dd did old papers, assessment books, went for tuition, and only got high 70s. 😢

Not sure what else we can do!

Any idea if the sch is still going to move? So renovations will be done inside the school while classes are on ?
The school is going single session in 2021. how are they squeezing everyone in?

Apparently by cutting the enrolment among other things.
