Luckily I didn’t throw away: I almost want to throw her uniform after graduated. Didn’t know 23rd dec needs to report to sch wearing primary sch uniform.

Gentle reminder to all parents who might be doing spring cleaning in December

Some never wear uniform to report Sec sch also ok, no one will know whether kids are just siblings or whatever, there will sure be people who just wear anything
Possibly the teachers may say some remarks, but they cannot withhold the release of your results just becos of the uniform issue lah.

And reporting to secondary school...there will be some homeschooled kids & SPERS kids reporting. Those won’t be in uniform. So u won’t really stick out like a sore thumb.

Usually it’s the kids that have been wired by our 1st class edu sys to be super obedient after just 6 years of brain wash, even if patents say can wear anything, the kids are the ones not flexi and will insist sch says must wear uniform to report to Sec sch… Can be both good and bad

If they've outgrown theirs, maybe borrow from a larger classmate? If there isn't anyone bigger, then too bad, I guess.

                      Haha Great minds think alike.

But my reason for buying was to prepare for the PSLE Oral Exam, Graduation/Prize-giving ceremony, and the results n reporting day for end of year 🙂

Same. We bought also for oral exam. Even if not using for sec sch, it was only $15 each. From August till Nov, they were well worth the money.

Same! We bought new uniform for her Oral exam too. To leave a good impression, wear a set of new uniform and you will notice your uniform is *brighter* than the rest wearing old uniforms.

We know what schools to choose but don’t know if T-score is sufficient to go to school of choice. Anyway, I have lowered my expectation and told dd to lower her expectations for the T-score too. Raise hopes too high, you get more disappointments. Let nature takes its course and we accept whatever T-score she gets. This has been a challenging PSLE exam year indeed. Good luck to next year 2020 batch. Expect the same challenge too. Heard from a friend whose relative work in MOE that the PSLE standard is going to be like that challenging to compare with AL Score in 2021 onwards. Just pray for the best and get the T-score good enough to go to a decent school within our choices.
