Hi all, it has been a long time since i last post here. My eldest DS is the graduating batch of 2019 (left 2 more physics papers). Thru out his 6 yrs in RV, i shd say im very happy and grateful that he had pick the right sch. Yes, he picked this sch himself as I was not very into ip track but preferred the more traditional, \"safer\" O level track. But after gg thru 6 yrs wif him, we r all very glad n happy and looking forward to the next phase in his life, NS in jan 2020! DS din really do well for the past 5.5 yrs. He managed to scape thru jus barely hit the min promotion criteria🙏🏻. He din pass his higher chi in yr 4. Sat for chi H1 last yr and managed to get an A wif a distinction in oral. He din really put in effort in his chi. But thru the encouragement n guidance of his chi tr, he managed to do well in his H1 chi... He also din do well in jc1. His rank point was only 39 in march 2019. But this manage to improve in may, and again, in his sch prelim, thru constant remedia lessons and him chasing his tr for more practise papers. He only start his real \"serious\" studies since Jun2019. Luckily, wif the help of the trs, he is constantly improving🙏🏻 we r all looking forward to recd his A levels results next yr🙏🏻 my piglet will be collecting his psle results next thurs. He intends to follow his gor gor footsteps and apply for RV, if he qualifies🙏🏻


My point is : dun give up! my son was always in the borline, the sch didnt downgrade him to O levels track nor give up on him. For this, RV has done a gd job. It is indeed a good sch if u dun give up!

Quite risky, you need to have a strong 2nd and 3rd choice.

Hi, anyone’s DS or DD taking MSP for 3rd Language? Which location will be assigned, eg MOELC (Newton or Bishan)? For MSP, only study for 4 years leading to O Level exams? Is it useful for A level to gain entry to university?

Yr1 to yr3 is the all white overall type. Half U is with dark blue flare skirt

Yr 4 onwards no more white overall. Full U is white shirt with slightly tight blue skirt. Half U is with slightly tight blue skirt too. Plus gtr collar badge.
