      OT:
@MKS. MSP has high standards - I was recommended by their teachers to gauge the initial standard by flipping a P5 Malay language textbook.

The non Chinese students (whom we know) taking CSP are also serious about their learning & do go for proper exams. They would try to use Chinese in their daily communications with their Chinese schoolmates.

Third languages (even Malay or CSP) are not play-play my dear, you cannot skip depending on your convenience lah.[/quote]
Yes, I don't think you can just skip the exams. It's an official subject in school! I don't know about MSP at all. My daughter's friend studied diligently for the CSP exam, but of course, it wasn't O level standard. Not sure what standard it was if compared to school syllabus.

Once a week at MOELC in Newton for Japanese

Thank you Sob7, Any idea if German is also at Newton? Especially now they just shifted to Braddell?

Another related to PA CCA, is it difficult to get into International Dance with no ballet certification? How about Choir? My DD says. O sports but open to PA or clubs..

Not sure about German, I only know Jap and Spanish at Newton.
Most CCAs difficult to get in, as I said in prev thread kids are selected not they select the CCAs
