Your 5th and 6th choice must be the schools that your child's score is 10 points more because if your child did not get into the first 4 choices, he must get into the 5th or 6th choice of school.

Hi, first time mummy to P6 kid. Want to seek advice if this is a suitable way for sec school selection if score is 241.
First 3 selections @ 242 (CGS, CCHM, SM)
                    Last 3 selections @238, 236 and 234 COP

Would it be too much a risk to put 3 selections with 1 pt higher than 2018 COP and would it be safe to stop at 234 COP?
                    Thanks
i think stop at 234 is ok.

Hi Bluemom, can shed some light which area do you reside? Your 6 choices are all over Singapore. Is distance or travelling a concern for your DD?

                      My tscore 250 + 2
                      1st - Rv SAP ( cop 252) - Jurong West/Boon Lay
                      2nd - scgs ‘o’ level ( cop 252) - Central
                      3rd - cedar ‘o’ level ( cop 250) - Potong Pasir
4th - Chung Cheng main SAP ‘o’ level ( cop 242) Marine Parade
5th - nan chiau SAP ‘o’ level (cop 244) Sengkang

No lah. 30mins you will only know whether you can appeal or not. It can take up to a week for some schools to get back to you. Most will take at least 3 days.

Trust me, it is true : )

Maybe if you are using a school with vacancy or not as popular. So far the experience from those who appeal in the past on KSP have been wait and wait. Then if lucky, a couple of days before school reopen, they send you the news.[/quote]Not sure about their vacancies. It’s not a nbh sec sch. Pretty popz sch actually.
But it’s true, most appeals take time.
I guess it’s bcuz the child had a psle score that was higher than the cop then. Hence she got accepted super fast. The school wasn’t even on her 6 choices lol
Most appeals which hv to wait are usually at cop.
