The answer is it depends.
Any tot of school setting aside 20% for affiliation? For students without any affiliation, do you all think higher/ lower chance to get in?
I have teacher’s fren who told me, that there might have higher chances since 20% set aside for non-A. Aka, That the COP for non-A might be lowered?
What do u all think?
For schools that have exceeded their 80% allocation in the past, COP will come down.
For schools who have yet to meet their quota, minimal changes to their COP. -

I am thinking of trying (all boys school). it’s 10 points above my son’s COP for non-A for 2018, and 6 points above for 2017 (Non-A).
Do u all think it’s still worth the try? -

There isn’t a website to check but shouldn’t be difficult to guess. The schools at risk (or over quota) are likely to be ACS BR, SAS -
hi all, i am new to this website and i would appreciate your answers .i scored 247 and i am having a hard time deciding between Nan Chiau High (COP 2018: 244) and Maris Stella (COP 2018 :237). Both are SAP schools. I like Maris stella’s programmes but i feel Nan Chiau high would push me academically. Distance isn’t a problem for me.Which one should i put as my first choice?TIA

Do u want to consider the following as well since you had 247 assuming you are at the East area

RGS not happening im afraid. The cop will prob go up +2 or +3.
My DD got 258. Choosing all IP schools below. Is it safe ?
1. RGS - 259
2. NJC - 256
3. CHIJ St Nick - 255
4. MGS - 258
5. Cedar Girls - 253
6. SCGs - 252
Thanks !
She is through to NJC no issues.
However i would put MGS as 2nd choice if u r serious about it....may have a chance. Though i suspect mgs cop for 2020 year 1 could be 259 +1 from this year.
Good luck -

Hi, I am new in this forum. Heard from my friend that I can get some advice from expert here.
My dd got 252+3. Looking at the COP, she is at the border line to get into IP. Any advice on the choice of school? Btw, we are staying at Hougang -
It’s not border line. You are at the mid range to get into a sap ip school.
