are there any Secondary school uniform, where the girls wear red colored skirt, or green colored skirt ?

Which Sec school uniform is nice, like \"Korean\" girls & boys high school style ?

maroon red skirt, bt panjang high sch,
      green skirt, kranji sec sch

Don't know about red, but Gan Eng Seng Sec has green skirts, and I think there is another school in the west (I've seen students around Clementi) with green skirts.

Why need to submit primary school report book to secondary school?

Not sure. We didnt need to give to anyone ever since collecting it from pri sch.

Yup. Never been asked for report books.

In anycase, if a sec sch educator need to ask to look into past grades & comments of behaviour or child’s achievements, I shld thinknits passé. Today’s educators look at working with the student on a clean slate to achieve sth based on new sec learning.

I certainly hope sec sch educators help our kids to make new frds, acquire the joy of learning & be inquisitive abt learning every new things. If the child alr qualifies for the sec sch & assigned to the class with students of similar level, it shld suffice for educators to deliver & inspire the kids. I’m thankful mine had nvr had to present any Pri report books or peers asking for T-scores. Guess they’re just happy to hv a new start.

                No lah, Not yet passe

some Secondary schools still request students to bring along their primary school Report book, when report to school on Monday, 23 Dec 2019, 8.30 am

There must be some reason, why the school want to check for info, inside the Report card. If really need to know the reason, can ask the school

                Example

                Serangoon Garden Secondary school

I asked the same question last year. All I know is this is school endorsed attire, not of trending. So must buy bigger size blouse, t shirt etc.

Thankfully, I don’t hv to face a Principal to question for the rationale for looking back at my child’s Pri Sch report book. What wld the record of their past grades for prior learning hv to do with new phase of Secondary learning journey?

What has general remarks of other Pri educators’ assessment of my child’s good or bad behavior hv to do with any new teachers of a higher grade which my child had been promoted to? I wld very much like them to meet my child & experience the new chemistry & interaction without past blinked views of subjective or general behavioral judgement.

All other records of NAPFA become irrelevant. As my child grows, i wld expect new assessments to be done afresh. My kids’ involvement with so many other CCAs, Performing Arts & Competitions hv no more bearings. What DSA my child hv be admitted for, the other competitions & achievements hv no direct bearings & I was surprised the sch had kept my child in MO practice team year after year despite not using MO for DSA.

JMO. My point is, good educators shld look fwd to engage & guide the child to build upon what the child naturally exhibits during secondary sch life & not look backwards. This wld set a healthy learning environment for kids & provide scaffolding for students who wld not like their past to be hanging over their heads.

Is it because your son scored A * in his Psle Maths, a few years ago ?
Hence, he was selected for MO training (those scored A * in PSLE Maths) since Secondary 1, despite not using MO for DSA ?

Think u’ve been in many threads to know PSLE Math has nothing to do with MO?
