It should be around 300. Apparently there wouldn’t be a J class next year and there would be 36 students in a class with 28 students in I class or maybe h class, I’m not too sure how many SBGE classes there will be.

Not true as long as there is good time management it should not be delayed to quite late at night It also depends on the number of commitments a student has ( such as CCA, Programmes etc. )

Before Dunman High start to allocate your child to 2020 Sec 1 class, speak to the VP (Admin / Academic) first.

Tell VP early, inform that u do not wish your child from Mainstream to be posted into SBGE class (together with Psle GEP students), even though your child's 2019 Psle Tscore is very high. If VP ask u for reasons why, be mentally prepared to answer VP.

Do this, before DHS start Sec 1 allocation classes, better than post your child there already, then request to opt out.

As 20 Dec (posting of Sec school results out) is yet to come, allocation of Sec 1 classes hasn't begun yet, until MOE provide the 2020 S1 students' Name-list, to DHS Principal.

So far, Principal only have the name list of successful DSA students, but Not the Tscore entry students' names yet. School's telephone number is here

                      https://dunmanhigh.moe.edu.sg/contact-us/

Alternately, wait until 20 Dec when posting result is out, confirm that your child has successfully been posted into DHS, then call school, speak to VP or find out who is the officer in charge of S1 class allocation, speak to him (her) your concern, just in case your child been posted to another school instead of DHS

But the other way round, hold true

if your child previously a GEP student , DHS will allocate your child to SBGE class, by default
