Haha yes! Will wind down and have a break during X’mas / year end period so both of us feel recharged to handle the next year 💪🏻
2 more weeks to school re-opening 😭 how’s everyone doing? On one hand want to pace out the revision but on the other hand mine is like playing whole day if don’t assign him work zzzz. Do enough to keep the brain ‘warm’ 😂
Any tips in revising Science? My DS no tuition and he feels he can handle it - he got low 80s in SA2. So far I have gotten him do more lower block practice during this holidays. -
Yes… have a good holiday for what’s left!
I recalled a few tuition centres advised in the parents' briefings that Speed and Rate is one of those topics that will not be heavily tested. So if a student is running out of time and just cannot understand this topic, some tutors do recommend dropping the topic to focus on the more important topics.

Hi, wonder what should I do with my child’s P1 to P5 school worksheets?
They are piling up and I find it very messy.
Thank you. -

It is a good time to sort them out. Get some thick lever-type ring files and categorize them into the 4 (or 5) subjects.

Then further split them by level, P1 to P5.
When it comes time for PSLE revision, these files will be useful, can look back to find topic by topic, those questions with worked answers. Then u can review the problem areas & address those. Sometimes the teachers will issue notes on how to do certain type of problem sums, which keywords are required for each topic in Science etc.
(Some of the lower primary worksheets will not be useful anymore. Eg those very simple topics like addition, subtraction, multiplication, introduction to fractions etc.
Remove those and put them into a discard/recycle pile. If you have a younger child, you can save those for the younger sibling.) -
zac's mum,
Thank you for your response. Hope can finish the sorting before the new year starts 😅 -

Threw them out already... only kept science notes p4 onwards. Think no time to look back for p1-p4 English/MT/Math notes. Mostly tested on p5/6 stuffs.
