      Is it mandatory to purchase E-book for Maths/Science textbk?
      Usually does the teachers require them to use textbook or use E-book during class lecturer?

        No. just get the normal ones would do. They do not refer to ebooks in class.
        For Science, most of the time they will use school notes.
        The ebooks are useful if you need to bring the texts back for revision or homework but I don't think it's really necessary.

          Nope. The teachers will give out Math & Science notes and used it during class lectures.

            Just want to check… for girls who are not offered Higher Chinese in the PSLE eligibility letter, are they still able to take HMT in Sec 1? Thanks.

              NYGH (SAP) school replied that

              for All Sec 1 students admitted in, it is compulsory to study Higher Chinese, for the next 4 years ahead (Sec 1 to Sec 4).

              In your case, even if your daughter does not have MOE eligibility letter, she must still take HCL, from 2020 Sec 1 onwards. Whether she has entered into NYGH,

              - by DSA entry, at minimum qualify for Express stream 200,

              - by Psle Tscore Cut-off-point entry via MOE S1 computer posting,

              - by NYPS Affliation entry at minimum Tscore 250,
              (247 +3 / 248 +2 / 249 + 1 / 250 + 0)

              All Sec 1 pupils, must take Higher Chinese (compulsory), for 4 years

                    uniform is everyday except for certain times school has event then do not need.
