Few more days to posting results... All the best everyone! I must say this pretty much been the best holidays for the last few years. Most relax. I hope our kids enjoy their \"honeymoon\" in 2020.
This is also known as the \"excuse brain\" holidays for the kids and it happens once in a lifetime. The brains are kept in cold storage. Need to take it out soon to de-freeze. Hope it still can function in Jan...... haha

            Hi all,
Can anyone share what is the highest Tscore you all have heard so far and from which school?

277 ACS. What about you? What’s the highest you’ve heard so far and from which school?

Anyone else heard other highest scores?

Does this still matter? I'm glad we're slowly moving away from such outdated measures of worth - in years past, there were threads in this forum tracking scores - now it's reduced to the odd posts like these, this is good.

Get a life you two! Who cares what is the highest n how does that affect or change your child's or your life...

277 at psle is not the be all n end all.

                  Move on you two.....

My advice to parents who're going through PSLE for the 1st time - chill, cos it's still a long journey towards tertiary education.

I noticed *erm* parent/parents whose child/ children probably did well in the psle being all excited and even discussing JC combi etc - good PSLE results don't set your child for the rest of his school years.

In fact, my dd is from a good IP school. It's been a humbling experience. She had to sacrifice leisure time, compromise on family time and was under severe stress esp near projects deadlines, which were quite frequent throughout the 4 years. A few of her peers broke down when the sleep deprivation and stress got to them. A few of her friends questioned what life is. We, as parents, felt for them. Yes, my dd did remarkably well for her PSLE. But did it mean a carefree journey after? No. It was more stressful than JC. We were just happy for her to quickly finish 1 year and proceed to the next. Thank goodness she has completed the gruelling 4 years and will be taking her As next year.

So for those parents who are basking in the glory of your child doing well at PSLE, don't hang on to it and start making plans for your child's JC combi etc. It's not necessary to jump the gun. It's a long and tough journey ahead.
                      Brilliant advice! Totally agree..
