Regarding appeals, some schools only opening it tomorrow.

I know xinmin has an online form but most seem to be needing you to visit the school.

Those that do online will not need to make the trip to hand in hardcopy (can see why these are usually more efficient schs than others)
Appeal within same sch is easier for cases where student did not meet min cop, even sch admin says transfer within same sch makes it much easier for them to consider favourably

Appeal Within same sch from OP to IP, for student who had chosen 1st choice IP and 2nd choice OP for same sch but posted to OP becos just missing the IP cop eg by a mere 1pt

If you miss it, you miss it. Same school or otherwise makes no difference. It will still be rejected. An appeal to move from choice 2 to choice 1 requires the student meeting the COP of choice 1. Don’t take everything the school admin says at face value, the school admin is rarely in the decision process.
