      Hey guys,

      Old ACSI boy here.

Just wondering where I can get the different house shirts? Are they being sold at the coop or something? I lost the one shirt I had recently and would definitely like to get a few of the shirts, at least for nostalgia’s sake

Hi, my DS is completing his IB exams in 2 days. So far so good. With fingers crossed, he may be in the top 80% scoring above 40 points or if so lucky be among top 60% scoring above 42 points ( base on last year 2019 results). I am very very thankful of ACSI education. Next, if at lower end 42 points, (from the dream class of Humanities ) and he is still dreaming of local LAW schools (NUS /SMU) does he stand a chance?

                hi ACS parents,

as a mission school, does ACS practice religious activities in daily routine (like morning prayer, masses, etc)? How does the religious value affect students’ daily life? thanks.

from the chatbot at the ACS(I) website https://www.acsindep.moe.edu.sg/

What do I need to bring on the 1st day of school?

You are NOT required to bring any textbooks and workbooks; there will be no lessons as your timetable is only given on the first day.

You should, however, bring writing materials and some cash in case you need to buy some items at the school Co-op.

1st week will hv lots of activities for day camp orientation, CCA trials, etc.

Yr child will not be lost with what to do or prepare coz the entire sch & seniors will engage yr child well. They’ll be enjoying themselves.

Just one note tho - try to get enuf uniform, shorts, PE coz S’times PE shirts & shorts run out till 2nd/3rd mth. Just get one set for starter as some CCAs may hv to buy diff types of additional Ts. Get more than one tie & esp sch pin fr the Sch Co-op as boys tend to loose the pins easily. Students will need writing pads, files, etc fr Co-op which will get crowded 1st week of school. You’ll need jackets bcoz they sit in cold air-con classrooms. Choice of either buying fr Co-op or fr the PSG parents selling the colorful yellow/deep blue jackets.

If yr child is in IB/IP, they’ve their own sch prepared materials. Except for Geog, LA, CL/HCL, most other books & SC textbooks are not used. The advice is to buy optionals only after lesson commences. Teacher might adv not nec to buy some books.

                        Hope abv helps
